The original Te Atatū Peninsula Library opened in 1970 on the same site and relocated to the new building in November 2014. The new library is a busy, medium sized library with features such as an increased floor area, high ceilings, and expansive glass doors that open out to a deck facing Jack Pringle Park.  The new library reflects our very diverse community which is growing all the time.
