We are opening up the Creative Lab Makerspace to the Cosplay community!
This is an opportunity to meet and greet and check out the equipment we have available in the makerspace that could be useful for cosplay.
We have 3d printers, vinyl cutting, electronics, soldering and all sorts of other equipment.
No need to register just come along!
This currently a fortnightly event that will take place on Mondays from 6pm till late.
It is free to attend. If you are using Tap Lab resources we appreciate a Koha to go towards keeping resources available for everyone.
Our lovely ladies at Crafters Corner are donating knitted blankets to the Give a Kid a Blanket initiative. If you have any PJ's, blankets or wool that you would like to donate towards this initiative then please feel free to drop your items off on Thursday from 9.30am - 2pm. Give a Kid a Blanket will be collecting all donated items on 23 July.

A year 9 class from Rutherford College have been exploring their local area and what it means to them. Using mainly phone cameras the students have tried to become more aware of their surroundings. They have looked at the way light changes throughout the day and tried to notice objects and environments that people might overlook or deem insignificant.

We have a new and improved youth sport and recreation programme which is being run by Kelly Sports. This will be held every Wednesday from 3.45pm - 5.45pm & Thursday 4pm - 6pm (school term only) in the main hall. Foucsing on different sport every two weeks. First session kicks off next Thursday 16 February and we will be starting with Touch, Turbo Touch & Tag.
There will have 2 coaches available, so they are able to split age groups + ability to ensure that everyone is in an environment that is comfortable and challenging.
So make sure you head along!!!

Each Tuesday we try to hold an open maker session: come in and work on a project of your own, or talk to other makers about what they're working on. If you'd like to practise your soldering skills, learn how to use a 3D printer, programme a robot or do something different, this might be the night for you!
